About the Coalition

In response to the needs of the Twin Cities community, a group of west metro area churches organized the West Metro Grief Support Coalition.   The mission of this coalition is to provide caring support and education for persons who are experiencing grief and loss.  Learning about the process of grief and sharing our experience in a confidential setting offers the hope of personal growth and healing.

Losses may include:

• Death of a spouse or parent
• Death of a child, pregnancy and infant loss
• Death of a family member
• Death of a significant other
• Death of a friend
• Suicide
