  HOPE for those who are hurting

Session Format

Sessions are held weekly.  We begin with a half hour of social time.  Our session continues with prayer followed by a brief educational program.  Our final hour is spent in a small group setting.  Participants have the opportunity to share with persons who are experiencing similar losses.  Trained volunteers facilitate these small groups.

This is a mutual self-help group providing education and support in a safe non-threatening atmosphere.  We are all encouraged to participate at the level we feel most comfortable.  Our goal is to help each other understand and express our feelings of grief and to develop healthy coping skills.

Participants are welcome to come to any or all of the session.  This group is an open group and new members are always welcome.  Members move on when their needs change.
