Vision

The Vision of Minnetonka United Methodist Church is to be caring, inclusive, and spirit-filled in all that we do.

Ministry- Providing vibrant and meaningful worship and programming that are faith-based. God's grace is experienced in many and different ways. Worship experiences that are meaningful and diverse prepare us to be faithful throughout our lives. Our faith is based on scripture, tradition, reason, and experience. The ministry of the church gives meaning to the context of our lives. Worship and programs help people of all generations deal with their real life issues.

Unity- Valuing the diverse qualities and contributions of all members. Differences enhance our identity and are a welcome part of this congregation. All people are created in God's image and are of sacred worth.

Mission- Serving our community and world as a trusted steward through generous use of our resources. God's creation is good and all people deserve to experience its bounties. All our resources belong to God and we are the stewards of those resources. God's love and justice form our relationships with others. Faith is demonstrated through tangible acts of mission. Partnerships with those outside our congregation create value.

Community - Building healthy relationships among our members, friends and constituents. Community life contributes to individual wholeness. Prayers, presence, gifts and service connect the community through God's grace. Christ-like relationships are healthy and supportive. Sharing the Good News is a natural expression of faith and discipleship.
