  What is New? 

  • Global Ministry Workshop
    • A global ministry Workshop will be held on Saturday, February 13 from 9am - noon at the Minnetonka United Methodist Church. 

      It will offer an opportunity for directors, singers and instrumentalists to get “hands on” experience with global music for worship.  Bring the sounds from the global Christian community to life in your congregation by learning basic techniques of authentic performance styles presented by Mark Sedio.   Click here for more information.

  • How Best to Support UMCOR’s Earthquake Relief in Haiti

    • Haiti continues to be on our hearts and minds.  We are grateful for the financial contributions to the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) to assist Haiti in the earthquake recovery effort.  To help out, you can give online at www.umcor.org and list Minnetonka United Methodist Church in the online form.  The American Institute of Philanthropy, a charity watchdog group, gave UMCOR an A+ rating for its Haiti recovery ministry because of UMCOR’s accountability and efficient use of donations.

  • FAT TUESDAY is February 16. 

    • A Pancake Supper will be served in Fellowship Hall from 5pm to 7pm. 

    • A Jazz Concert will be in the Sanctuary from 6pm to 8pm.  Invite your family, friends, and neighbors to this Mardi Gras Event!!!

  • ASH WEDNESDAY is February 17. 

    • The first Lenten Soup Supper, sponsored by the Mission Team, will be in Fellowship Hall beginning at 5:30pm.  Everyone is asked to bring soup, bread, or dessert to share.  Dishes, silverware, and beverages will be provided. 

    • Following the Soup Supper on ASH WEDNESDAY, there will be a worship service in the Sanctuary, 7pm.  As part of a seven year series on the Deadly Sins, this year’s service will focus on LUST.

  • Youth Ski Trip to Afton Alps
    • On Saturday 2/20/2010, the youth of the church will be hitting the slopes.  More information is on the youth page.
  • Adult Education
    • Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 10:30 am, there is a new discussion series called Expanding our World View.

With our challenging economy, please consider supporting programs of the Inter-congregation Community Association.  Our Church collects food throughout the year for ICA for distribution through their food shelf.
