3:00 PM - (God's Arrival Is) Just The Beginning

Series: We're Expecting!

December 24, 2023 | Rev. Carrie Binnie

Passage: Luke 2:1-20

Is your Christmas going exactly as you hoped it would? Is everything going according to plan? If you're at all like Mary, the answer is probably, "no." And yet, God was born amid imperfection and continues to be born anew this day for us all.

* This service features an unrehearsed children's Christmas pageant, familiar carols, an inspiring message, the celebration of Holy Communion and closes with candlelight worship.

Series Information

This fall, we put our focus on prayer, particularly the power of breakthrough prayer - when we ask God to move through and/or beyond the barriers that hinder the realization of God’s dreams for our lives.  As a praying people, we expect God to hear and respond to our prayers.  And if we are expecting God to appear, act or speak in this world, how might we engage in the midwifery needed to bring God’s will to birth?
