Every now and again we come across a biblical text that makes us question its authority and relevance for our lives. Stories like the binding of Isaac make us uncomfortable and quick to turn the page. Does God really test people? Does God will for a man to murder his son? How do we reconcile that which we read about in Genesis and our own experiences of God? Do we even want to believe in God? Join us as we look for some meaning in today’s Scripture passage and seek out what God would have us learn today. |
