Rev. Chris Carr
Director of Student Ministries
Chris is an ordained Deacon in The United Methodist Church. He grew up in Hopkins, Minnesota, and graduated from Hopkins High School. He earned a B.A. in Youth and Family Ministry from Augsburg University. In 2016, he received a Master of Divinity degree from Luther Seminary. Chris has been with Minnetonka United Methodist Church since the spring of 2024. Before that, Chris served 22 years in youth ministry in various congregations and nonprofits. Chris also works full-time outside the church in the security industry and trains and consults for faith communities and educational settings in safety and security. Chris has three teenage sons of which he is very proud. He enjoys snowboarding, disc golf, sports (Go Vikings and Timberwolves!), and singing.
