Series: Wandering Heart
February 18, 2024 | Rev. Carrie Binnie
Simon Peter wasn’t the captain of the A-team. But Jesus saw him in his hour of need, accepted him as he was, offered him assistance and utilized Peter’s daily life to foster a miracle and mark the beginning of a new and authentic friendship. Worship with us today and consider the role of friendship in our ministerial calling to Christ’s mission.

This Lent, we’re shifting our focus to Simon Peter, one of Jesus’ most famous disciples. Peter is both steadfast and unsteady, a trusted friend and one who betrays, a follower and a wanderer. As we journey with him, we’ll see the story of Jesus unfold through the eyes of a human being trying to navigate life and faith. In Peter, we’ll see ourselves. Together, may we see Christ anew.
