A sleeping mat made from “plarn” (plastic yarn made from grocery bags)!
Why
Through Midwest Mission, these Sleeping Mats are distributed locally and internationally to people who need a barrier between themselves and the ground. The mats are lightweight, easy to clean and provide insulation from cold or damp ground. The mats are sent to people who are unhoused, as well as those without a bed or mattress in disaster relief situations.
