A Faith in Crisis

Series: The Heart of a Methodist

September 21, 2025 | Rev. Carrie Binnie

Passage: Romans 4:2-5

While pursuing what he thought was the faithful path of an “altogether Christian,” John Wesley experienced numerous ups and downs and began to question his faith. How often do we focus on our plans, responsibilities and goals instead of asking and zeroing in on what God desires for our lives?

Series Information

The compelling faith and theology of John Wesley continues to move people to action around the world. Unfortunately, many people have never heard his story or reflected on his theological insights. It’s time for that to change. This six-week series will follow the life of the founder of the Methodist movement and explore the defining characteristics of a Methodist heart. Wesley’s story is our story. It shapes our faith and challenges us to rediscover our spiritual passion.
