Jesus as Teacher

Series: Freeing Jesus

October 20, 2024 | Rev. Carrie Binnie

Passage: John 13:12-17

The story of Jesus washing his disciples’ feet is usually told the Thursday of Holy Week. But the message and mission embedded in this act can get buried in the rest of the night’s activity. Join us today as we slow things down and consider the last official lesson Jesus taught his disciples. Perhaps the wisdom of the Ultimate Teacher will fall afresh on us, his modern-day students.

Series Information

Have you ever questioned whether or not you want to be part of the Church? The Christian Church has made a lot of poor decisions and hurt and disappointed even more people–possibly you. Even so, there’s something about the person of Jesus and the faith you’ve developed that you don’t want to leave behind... Join us as we contemplate the many faces of Jesus and how we might experience and share him in lifegiving ways for a new era.
